Peter Paces of England is a well known prize winning carver who has won many prizes for his carvings both in the US and the UK. I met Peter and his wife at the International Woodcarvers' Conference in 2001 and found him to be a delightful person, as well as one of the best carvers anywhere.
The Texas Woodcarver's Guild is an organization dedicated to promoting the art and craft of woodcarving in Texas. Donna has been taking classes at their twice-a-year get-togethers since 1996, and teaching classes since 1997.
Bill Russell has many different styles of carving on his site. Take a look.and see for yourself.
Fran Bloomer's Knotworks Lacebobbins and Lacemaking Tools are works of art turned from wood and bone. Fran's work is beautiful and an inspiration to all us novice turners.
Wanda Marsh is a prize-winning carver with both her fish and flower carvings. she is also a gifted teacher who has helped many students learn  power carving.
Carving Magazine is an excellent resource for carvers of all levels of competence. Donna Menke has been writing informative articles for the magazine since issue #1 and has been featured in issues #3,5,7,9,11, and 13.
Brian Davis Wood Designs shows the work of a most creative turner. Brian lives in Western Australia and he derives his material, both physical and subjects, from his environment. He often inlays into his turned pieces giving them a magical quality.
woodworking_women: an online group for the discussion and sharing of information about woodworking of all sorts. It is not restricted to women- and nice men are invited to participate.
Maura Macaluso works in New York City and she always has an interesting project featured on her site. She sometimes takes you step-by-step through her carving process. She has also written an interesting piece on the State of Woodcarving in America Today.
Tony Ward works in the Blue Mountain area of Australia, with fine Australian timbers, to make beautiful art sculptured boxes. Tony is one of the best band saw box makers I know.

bandsawboxes: an online group for people who enjoy making band saw boxes and like to share their information and ideas for making these wonderful boxes.
Greentree Creations is the woodworking business of Jane Burke. Jane makes wonderful boxes  and decorates them with expert marquetry. This box was featured in the Gallery section of The Ultimate Band Saw Box Book.
